Dental Issues

Have you experienced dental issues related to your Sjögren's disease? What has that been like for you?

  1. 1. , Sending (((hugs))), love and light. I see you.

You can speak to your doctor to get documentation that implants are a medical necessity due to Sjogren's, and that it i a quality of life issue. You can also apply for a grant here: https://accessiahealth.org/oralhealthfund2024/ - I hope that helps; please keep us posted. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

  2. I suffer daily and nightly with dry mouth, sometimes I get up during the night to brush my teeth.
My biggest problem is dental insurance, I can’t afford to get the dental treatment required. I’ve only had the deep cleaning once this year but my dentist recommended having it done twice a year. I used all my dental insurance plus more money than I could afford to pay.
I welcome any information about dental health.
