Your Teeth
Ugh...I never had cavities...now all of a sudden with all the auto-immune disease I have besides Sjogrens my teeth are deteriorating. I lost my front tooth and put an implant and another tooth with crown had to be recrowned. I was told 6 teeth need to be removed due to cavaties and replaced by a crown. Needless to say getting a second opinion. Of course Insurance doesn't cover any of this. Just giving you a heads up.
I had so many bad teeth at the same time, unfortunately. I could not afford the procedures so I had to choose dentures. That was so difficult to do,but had no other way. It is still difficult because with dry mouth,food sticks to your teeth.
, you may be able to file an appeal if your doctor will help you document that it is a quality-of-life issue associated with Sjogren's. Sadly, the US doesn't consider dental health to be a factor in overall health. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
Which Dr has to help? My dentist or my PCP? I owe 1 12,000 and a current one with insurance is 10,00 after everything is done. St most I have 15 teeth left in my mouth. 5 are to be pulled in Sept.

Please keep us posted on how you're doing. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)thank you Donna I'm just so overwhelmed since I have been going to the same Dentist for the past 7 years I don't know why they didn't fill each cavity while they were occurring instead of waiting to the point of them getting so bad that now 4 must be removed and a total of 6 are needed to complete a bridge. I feel this is a lawsuit for neglecting the cavities so they could make the bigger bucks which I can't afford. , I think you are well within your rights to speak with an attorney.
